Kudos

Hi Laura (and Leslie),

I wanted to thank you both again for accommodating us this past weekend. We had a great time at the beginner event and we were thrilled with the lesson that Ingrid received. Ing has made it a point to schedule her riding time on my work calendar so that we can ride almost every day; granted we are only at Tuesday but so far she rode the last 3 days.

Ingrid has already cantered her pony both directions for only about 4-5 strides at a time but it is a good start and the lesson helped us 'get it done.' We will continue to work on balance, seat position, and basic cueing so that Ingrid and Goldie (her pony who is a mare FYI) continue to move forward. She is also practicing trotting poles and working on her 2 point position and balance.

She definitely wants to do the camp and between the 4H fair (Jul 30) and the camp she has some great motivation to make sure she and her horse are both ready. I will get in touch with you again later this month to confirm things for the camp. As I asked when I saw you I would love to be able to also bring my horse (big grey shireX Ash) and ride that week if possible as we compete at the Horse Park trials that Sunday (stall Wed-Sat morn?). I would also love to be able to get a lesson or two (maybe a dressage lesson and a jumping lesson?) in that week if you have the time. If not please let me know and I will make other arrangements.

Thank you again for everything (from all of the girls in Trinidad) as I know things have been crazy busy, it was truly appreciated.

Regards
