Friday, July 26, 2013 at 8:53AM Congratulations to Jacqueline Larouche and the Gingerbread Man. 6th place individually and team silver in the CCI** at Young Rider's. I'm so proud of all they have accomplished together!
Last week (July 16-22) featured intense competition and a lot of great juniors and young riders giving their best effort at the NAJYRC at the Kentucky Horse Park. Jacqueline, riding Gingerbread Man (Allen), had gotten through dressage and cross-country and went into show jumping in 6th place. They held on to 6th place with a nicely ridden stadium round. Her teammates, Erin Strader (Area VIII) and Lizzie Snow (Area VII), finished the day in 5th and 7th to bring home Team Silver!! Very impressive considering they only started with three team members and didn't have the luxury of dropping a score! A big thank you to Madeline Backus who took time off of her training schedule at Blue Hill Farm and traveled to Kentucky to groom for Jacqueline.
