PSEC Summer Horse Camps

I hope you will put the dates on your calendar and let me know of your interest so I can get you on the list before they sell out. I will be posting more detailed information on our website (www.PendragonEventing.com) and will be sending email notices as well. You may call me (Leslie) at 303.688.4147 or email me.

We are offering Intermediate, Beginners and Eventing Horse Camps this year. These camps are geared toward those who wish to learn the correct way to ride and care for horses. All of the camp activities center around horses and fun.

This year, we are privileged to have Madeline Backus, Rolex 4* competitor, as our camp instructor. This is a rare opportunity in our area, so don’t miss out. See her introduction below.

*PSEC BEGINNER HORSE KIDZ CAMPS* June 30th, July 10th, and July 27th, 2017

*PSEC INTERMEDIATE CAMP* August 1st - 2nd

*PSEC EVENTING CAMP* Date TBD

Each camp has a different cost ranging from $95-$350. This includes one or two riding lessons and one or two lectures per day plus other related activities. The Beginner and Intermediate campers are never left unsupervised. Lunch plus additional snacks are provided for some camps but not all. Each camp is limited to 10 campers (Kidz camp limited to 5) so sign up early.

Madeline Backus is an “A” Pony Club graduate, earned her USDF bronze medal at 16, and has competed at the NAJYRCs at the one and two star levels. Madeline, on her home-raised horses, has won the American Eventing Championships and has been awarded many local, regional and national honors. In 2017, she placed in the top tier of competitors, which included many Olympic riders, at the Rolex Kentucky 3-Day event (a 4*level competition). She has given clinics all over the United States.
