More August HTs - Richland & Archer

Three from Team PSEC went to Richland August 24th - 27th:

 Emma C. & Denver, in their first 1-star, finished 17th
 Madeline & Vinnie placed 3rd in the Prelim Horse class
 Madeline & Rio won the Training Horse class

Emma wrote “Richland 1* could not have gone any better. Not only was this both of our first experience at an FEI, but it's also only Denver's 3rd show back since his stint off, and so I'm super proud of how brave he was for still getting back into the swing of things! Dressage went so well, Denver stayed focused and I definitely had some nerves in the beginning but we got a 43 which I was thrilled with! It was interesting to learn the new scoring system, but it put us in fourth out of 48 competitors with professionals and very experienced riders in the class so I was really proud of how competitive mr. D was in such a huge field! Stadium was tricky, he wasn't super confident doing it on grass so I had to give him a very positive ride and we went clean and clear! It was a tough course so it was super cool to really work as a team on that one and leave everything up. Xc was a bit longer and had a few more abc's than we are used to, but it couldn't have gone any better.”

Two from Team PSEC went to Archer n August 26th & 27th:

 Ingrid & Berklee won their Intro class
 Sophie & Obie finished 3rd in just their second Training class
