February 28th - March 2nd Rocking Horse Winter III HT (FL)
Friday, March 14, 2014 at 3:31PM Five riders and seven horses representing PSEC competed at the Rocking Horse Winter III Horse Trials.
Madeline Backus & Ari competed in their first Intermediate horse trials and finished 6th!
She also rode Deanie in Open training. Their dressage score (surprisingly high for Deanie) left them in the middle of the class but with c&c x-c & show jumping, moved up to finish 11th.
Christina Henriksen & Princess Pavan had a great ride in the Preliminary Rider division and finished 2nd!
She & Jos Calfun had a repeat great ride in Sr. Training Rider and also finished 2nd
Jill Hopcroft & Mikey in Sr. Novice Rider finished 4th in a large class on their dressage score
Janet Gordon & Irish Beginnings finished a very respectable 8th place in Sr. Novice Rider
Nancy Rush-Isbell & Piper finished their Sr. BN division in 12th
Quite a good showing, I’d say. Congrats to all! Next up, Feather Creek in Oklahoma 3/15-16.
