June 21st - 23rd, Abbe Ranch Horse Trials

The 38th running of the Abbe Ranch Horse Trials was another Farmer success!! The event ran well and it was great that they offered Elementary. Our Elementary riders, Emily Robbins, riding Carlos, and Sophie Wiedenheus, riding Camelot, gained wonderful experience and even came home with some ribbons (1^st and 4^th respectively)!!

Beginner Novice was owned by Emma Ciafone and Gabe but Jill Hopcrft and Michael were hot on their heels. Emma not only came home with the blue ribbon for that division, she was also 1^st place Young Rider AND the recipient of the Cindy Farmer trophy for Best Beginner Novice AND the trophy for the best scoring Pony Clubber. Also in Beginner Novice, Rhonda Robert's Bravo is definitely a future star to be contended with and Darby Murphy and Walter are hitting their stride.

At Novice, Ashley Demander and Bebe really shined, and "the blue streak" aka Oakley and Marilyn Simpson were strong and confident.

Grace Simpson's first Training, riding Rapport, went very well with lots of smiles after each phase and a yellow ribbon at the end! And she was 1^st Training level Young Rider. Well Done everyone...next stop PSEC Beginner Event & Combined Test on July 6th
