Madeline Backus accepts Draper Advisory Board position

Draper Equine Therapy Proudly Announces Their Newest and Youngest Advisory Board Member, Madeline Backus

Draper Equine Therapy®, a leader in equine health products containing the innovative smart fiber Celliant®, is proud to welcome Madeline Backus of Larkspur, Colorado, to serve on their growing Advisory Board. Draper relies on competitive riders such as Backus to represent their company and stand behind their technologically-advanced products.

Madeline, age fifteen, is the youngest member of the Draper Equine Therapy Advisory Board. She has been Eventing since she was seven and has shown all over the United States, competing through the CCI* level with her Trakehner mare, PS Arianna (Ari). In 2011 she competed at the North American Junior/Young Riders Championship finishing a very respectful 9th place overall. In 2010, Ari was USEA Area IX’s Preliminary Horse of the Year and together they won their first IP event. Madeline also worked diligently with P.S. American Girl, who had never Evented previously. In 2008, the pair ended up Reserve Champion at the American Eventing Championships and 2nd overall on the USEA National Leaderboard at Junior Training. Madeline also manages to keep excellent grades while staying actively involved with her local Pony Club and musical interests. "I really am looking forward to climbing the ladder in Eventing and know the Draper products will be instrumental in keeping my horses and me in top form no matter what I’m doing," said Madeline.
