July 28-31 NAJYR Championships

Area IX Young Riders who competed in Kentucky this year include:

2** Kendyl Tracy riding Ever So Lucky Silver Medal team (Area V & IX combined) and finished 8th overall

1* Madeline Backus riding PS Arianna finished 9^th overall

1* Ashlyn Dorsey and Cosmic Girl finished 13^th overall

Ellie Gilbertson and KS Priceless had to withdraw prior to the start of the competition, so the 1* team was short a rider and Kendyl and Ever So Lucky was the only Area IX 2** pair to compete. The Area IX 1* riders competed as individuals, Kendall rode with Area V to make a team. It took a great effort on the part of the riders, horses, coaches, sponsors and Area IX personnel to qualify and get our area represented and I’d say they did us all proud!
