PSEC HORSEMANSHIP CAMP MAY 26th - 27th

The May 26th and 27th Horsemanship Camp is coming up and we have a couple more spots open. Please join us for this informative, interactive and fun 2-day camp.

The first of its kind at Pendragon, this unmounted camp is for 8 to 14 year old horse lovers who would love to improve their horse care skills or the enthusiast who may need to feel more comfortable on the ground with horses before getting in the saddle. This camp will focus on horse husbandry, feeding/nutrition, trailering safety, first aid for your horse and more. Great for Pony Clubbers!

No overnight stay is required. Campers need to be at PSEC no later than 8:00 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m. The cost of this camp is $180.00 (does not include lunch; please bring your own lunch) - Your own horse is not required. Maximum participants 8/Min 5. Pre-registration with $50.00 deposit required.

PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXIII

Closing date is May 29th so, if you plan to attend this fun show, please get your entries to me soon. Your checks will not be deposited until after closing date. Before then, if you have to cancel for any reason, I will shred your check and entry, so you will not be penalized for getting your entry in soon.

We have Little Peacock coffee truck coming this year as well as a concession stand with yummy food plus prizes galore.

This fun event offers a schooling 3-phase event (dressage, cross-country and stadium) @ Green-as-Grass and Elementary levels. And again this year - a lead-line 3-phase! The unrecognized Combined Test offers dressage and show jumping rides from Elementary through Preliminary levels. The 3-Phase Event is $110.00 per entry (except the lead-line class is $65.00); the Combined Test is only $65.00 per division until closing date; after that, add $10.00. Dressage only classes are only $20.00 each and extra show jumping rounds are $5.00. We are also hosting the RMR Pony Club unrated/D rally - contact your DC or the RS for more information. PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXIII

Closing date for Pendragon Stud’s Beginner Event and Combined Test is just a a couple of weeks away so iIf you are planning to show, please get your entries to me soon. You may email or fax your entry before mailing it so I can get you on the schedule. If you do choose to fax or email your entry, follow up by putting the original paperwork and payment in the mail or pay by PayPal (*see below). Barn access is limited to PSEC clients only. We ask that everyone fills out your entry forms as completely as possible, with all signatures affixed in order to minimize contact for the secretary assistant who will be checking you in.

We offer Green-as-Grass, Intro and Lead-line 3-phase classes OR Beginner Novice thru Preliminary combined tests AND dressage test-of-choice AND an extra show jump round following your class ($5.) PSEC'S 2021 CAMP SCHEDULE & INFORMATION

Pendragon Stud Equestrian Center has camps planned for this year! I hope you will put the dates on your calendar and let me know of your interest so I can get you on the list before they sell out. I have posted more detailed information on THIS website under Events/Camps, on Pendragon’s Facebook page and I will be sending email updates as well. This year, we are offering one Horsemanship, three Beginner, one Intermediate, one Eventing and one Tiny Riders camps. These camps are geared toward those who wish to learn to ride (or ride better) and care for horses. All of the camp activities center around horses and fun.

*PSEC BEGINNER CAMPS* June 14th, July 5th, August 18th (These camps fill up fast, so get your entries in early)

*PSEC EVENTING CAMP* August 4th - 6th

Safety is our # 1 priority. All campers must have boots with a heel and a ASTM helmet. If you do not have a helmet, we have a limited supply of “loaners” that may suit your needs.

Each camp has a different cost ranging from $60-$350. This includes one or two riding lessons and one or two lectures per day plus other related activities. The Beginner and Intermediate campers are never left unsupervised. Please bring your own lunch and snacks. Each camp is limited: Tiny Riders and Beginner camps limited to 5 each, Horsemanship and Intermediate camps to 8 and Eventing camp to 10, so sign up early.
