PSEC’s July 13th - 14th Intermediate camp is fast approaching - sign up before it fills up.

Pendragon Stud Equestrian Center has only 2 spots left for the July 13th & 14th Intermediate camp. We are having just this one Intermediate camp so sign up while you can. This is a two-day long camp for riders ages 11 - 18, of all abilities and is the next step in equestrian education. This is a great camp to improve your riding skills or just to have fun. Students will further their knowledge in areas of dressage, jumping, showing and horse health care. No overnight stay is required but can be accomodated. Campers need to be at PSEC no later than 7:30 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m with two mounted lessons as well as unmounted instruction. The cost of this camp is $180.00 (does not include lunch; please bring your own lunch) - your horse. Maximum participants 8/Min 5. Pre-registration with $50.00 deposit required. This camp is informative and FUN. Hone up your skills in a relaxed but invigorating atmosphere, one that is "outside the box" of the usual training program in that you have the opportunity to spend two days with your horse learning new things and perfecting old ones. APPRECIATION DAY BBQ JULY 4TH @ LITTLE CREEK

APPRECIATION DAY BBQ Please join us (the Backus’, Leslie & PSEC) on July 4th for Appreciation Day! We are hosting a bar-b-que at Little Creek Ranch (11:00 am until 3pm-ish) for our clients, friends, neighbors, family and volunteers and would love to have you join us. We are providing the meat, condiments and iced tea. We’ll have horseshoes and badminton set up, kites to fly and, of course, the ducky race in the creek. PSEC SUMMER CAMPS UPDATE

Our show is over so now it's time to turn our attention to the last 4 SUMMER CAMPS! Pendragon Stud Equestrian Center is offering 2 more Beginner Horse Day Camps, for kids ages 6 - 16, this summer. The first one, on July 5th is already full but if you want to be put on a wait list, let me know. August 18th is the last Beginner Camp this year Other camp dates: July 13th-14th is the Intermediate camp for 11 to 18-year olds and August 4th - 6th is the Eventing Camp prepping for SGHT the 7th (but camp participants are not required to show) We are accepting applications for these camps now. PSEC BE & CT XXIII CLOSING DATE IS TOMORROW

Closing date for our show is tomorrow but if you email or fax your entry before Sunday, I will get you in. If you do choose to fax or email your entry, follow up by putting the original paperwork and payment in the mail as soon as possible, but please allow at least 5 days to get here. Entries after Sunday will be accepted with the late fee if space is available. Our fun new class, Lead-Line Beginner Event, is just $65. and dressage only rides are $20. ea. For the Combined Test classes, entry is only $65 and for the Beginner Event classes, only $110 until Sunday. NO EXTRA FEES. Our Horsemanship Camp is over and was great fun! Our next camps, the June 3rd Tiny Riders and June 14th Beginners Camps are full. The July 5th Beginners Camp has just 2 spots left. There are still a few spots left in the July 6th - 7th Intermediate Camp, August 5th - 7th Eventing Camp and August 18th Beginner Camp. These camps are a FUN learning experience where you or your horse crazy kid will learn to ride and care for horses or improve your current riding skills in a safe, qualified environment. PSEC HORSEMANSHIP CAMP MAY 26th - 27th

The May 26th and 27th Horsemanship Camp is coming up and we have a couple more spots open. Please join us for this informative, interactive and fun 2-day camp. The first of its kind at Pendragon, this unmounted camp is for 8 to 14 year old horse lovers who would love to improve their horse care skills or the enthusiast who may need to feel more comfortable on the ground with horses before getting in the saddle. This camp will focus on horse husbandry, feeding/nutrition, trailering safety, first aid for your horse and more. Great for Pony Clubbers! No overnight stay is required. Campers need to be at PSEC no later than 8:00 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m. The cost of this camp is $180.00 (does not include lunch; please bring your own lunch) - Your own horse is not required. PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXIII

Closing date is May 29th so, if you plan to attend this fun show, please get your entries to me soon. Your checks will not be deposited until after closing date. Before then, if you have to cancel for any reason, I will shred your check and entry, so you will not be penalized for getting your entry in soon. We have Little Peacock coffee truck coming this year as well as a concession stand with yummy food plus prizes galore. This fun event offers a schooling 3-phase event (dressage, cross-country and stadium) @ Green-as-Grass and Elementary levels. And again this year - a lead-line 3-phase! The unrecognized Combined Test offers dressage and show jumping rides from Elementary through Preliminary levels. The 3-Phase Event is $110.00 per entry (except the lead-line class is $65.00); the Combined Test is only $65.00 per division until closing date; after that, add $10.00. Dressage only classes are only $20.00 each and extra show jumping rounds are $5.00. We are also hosting the RMR Pony Club unrated/D rally - contact your DC or the RS for more information. We offer Green-as-Grass, Intro and Lead-line 3-phase classes OR Beginner Novice thru Preliminary combined tests AND dressage test-of-choice AND an extra show jump round following your class ($5.)
