PSEC’s July 6th - 7th Intermediate camp is fast approaching - sign up before it fills up.

This is a two-day long camp for riders ages 11 - 18, of all abilities and is the next step in equestrian education. This is a great camp to improve your riding skills or just to have fun. Students will further their knowledge in areas of dressage, jumping, showing and horse health care. No overnight stay is required. Campers need to be at PSEC no later than 7:30 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m with two mounted lessons as well as unmounted instruction. The cost of this camp is $180.00 (does not include lunch; please bring your own lunch) - your horse or our school horse. Maximum participants 10/Min 5. Pre-registration with $50.00 deposit required. This camp is informative and FUN. Hone up your skills in a relaxed but invigorating atmosphere, one that is "outside the box" of the usual training program in that you have the opportunity to spend two days with your horse (or ours) learning new things and perfecting old ones. I've attached the forms to return to me if you are interested, or call me if you have any questions.

PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXII JUNE 6TH

PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXII

Closing Date: extended to May 23rd (it will be here before you know it!)

Pass the word - we are going forward with our show on June 6th so it is a "go" again this year (22 years and counting)! Opening date has come and gone but there’s still time to get your entry in. But PLEASE send them soon as we will be doing things differently this year due to Covid-19. The scheduling will be such that we will have the fewest number of people on the grounds at a time. Since this is something we’ve not done before, I ask everyone to send your entries as soon as possible so I can play around with how this is going to work. We will be taking other precautions as well.

This fun event offers a schooling 3-phase event (dressage, cross-country and stadium) @ Green-as-Grass and Elementary levels. And new this year - a lead-line 3-phase! The unrecognized Combined Test offers dressage and show jumping rides from Elementary through Preliminary levels. The 3-Phase Event is $110.00 per entry (except the lead-line class is $65.00); the Combined Test is only $65.00 per division until closing date; after that, add $10.00. Dressage only classes are only $20.00 each and extra show jumping rounds are $5.00. We are also hosting the RMR Pony Club unrated/D rally - contact your DC or the RS for more information. Check our website, PendragonEventing.com/Events/Beginner Event & Combined Test for information and the entry form or call us 303.688.4147. Your checks will not be deposited until after closing date. Before then, if you have to cancel for any reason, I will shred your check and entry, so you will not be penalized for getting your entry in early.

We need a lot of help to put this show on, so if you can help in any way - before, during or after, please call Carol Jones at 720.346.4478. Free lunch and a small trinket of gratitude for all volunteers - and it's fun!

Thank you for your support,

Leslie, Laura & Madeline

PSEC BEGINNER EVENT AND COMBINED TEST XXIII

Opening date for Pendragon’s Beginner Event and Combined Test is coming up on April 14th. With Covid-19 still present, it is uncertain whether we will be able to hold it on June 6th as scheduled but one way or another we are planning to hold it sometime this year. So go ahead and send in your entry. I will not cash any checks until we know when our show will run. If we have to postpone to a date later than June 6th and the new date doesn’t work for you, I’ll simply shred you entry and check. It’s a win-win.

Besides the Beginner Event & Combined Test classes, we also will have Dressage Only classes,  show jumping schooling at the end of each class for those who sign up and cross-country schooling after the show (with a trainer). Check this website under Events/Beginner Event & Combined Test. You will find a link for the entry form in the Fast Links column on the right. If you have any questions, please give me a call. I hope to hear from you soon. PS please spread the word.
We need a lot of help to put this show on, so if you can help in any way - before, during or after, please call Carol Jones at 720.346.4478. Free lunch and a small trinket of gratitude for all volunteers - and it's fun!
