January 16, CCC, MSEA & Area IX Awards Banquet

Join us as we celebrate our accomplishments of 2015! We have several clients who will be receiving awards so come and participate in the fun.

6pm Kirk Hall, Douglas County Fairgrounds, Castle Rock

There will be a pot luck supper, a silent auction and awards for all 3 clubs (CCC, MSEA and Area IX)

If you are an MSEA member, also plan to attend the very important meeting that will preceed the banquet. Time aand place TBD.

Please join us for some holiday cheer on Saturday, December 19th. HHPC will provide the ham, PSEC will have the chocolate fountain set up for your enjoyment. We ask that you bring a side dish to share. 
We will have a Chinese gift exchange again this year for those who wish to participate. Just bring a wrapped gift valued around $10.00-$15.00.

November 7th - PSEC Hunter/Jumper Schooling Show #1

Join us on Saturday, November 7th for the first show in our hunter/jumper winter series. More information is on this website under Activities. This fun, relaxed show offers classes from leadline-walk/trot to 3'6" jumpers. $7.00 per class or unlimited entries (same horse/rider team) for only $50.00. Add $10.00 office fee per horse/rider team. Sign up the day of the show or print the entry form from our website and bring it with you. We will also repeat this show on December 5th,  January 2nd and February 6th so mark your calendar for all four shows in this series. October 30th - PSEC Haunted Barn

Friday, October 30th is the new date for Pendragon Stud Equestrian Center's haunted barn (previously scheduled for 10/31). The address is still 6510 E. Lorraine Rd. Larkspur 80118 (we are near Hwy 83). We still need volunteers to help set up and run scary stalls or just come and have fun. If you volunteer, Laura will feed you a chili and cornbread supper. Please call her at 720.371.9605 for information or to volunteer.

July 11th PSEC Beginner Event & Combined Test

Closing date has come and gone but there’s still time to get your entry in. We will accept entries after closing - please include late fee - but as I will be out-of-town next week, so it would be very helpful if you could get your entries to me this week, if possible.

This fun event offers a schooling 3-phase event (dressage, cross-country and stadium) @ Green-as-Grass and Elementary levels. The unrecognized Combined Test offers dressage and show jumping rides from Elementary through Preliminary levels. The 3-Phase Event is $95.00 per entry; the Combined Test is only $65.00 per division until closing date; after that, add $10.00. June 3 - 5 PSEC Intermediate Camp #1

This is a three day long camp for riders ages 12 - 16, of all abilities and are the next step in equestrian education. Students will further their knowledge in areas of dressage, jumping, showing and horse health care. No overnight stay is required. Campers need to be at PSEC no later than 7:30 a.m. as camp activities start at that time and continue throughout the day until 5 p.m. Lunch plus additional snacks are provided daily, let us know if you have any special dietary needs. The cost of each camp is $300.00 - your horse or our school horse. Maximum participants 10/Min 5. Pre-registration with $50.00 deposit required. This+ camp is informative and FUN. Hone up your skills in a relaxed but invigorating atmosphere, one that is "outside the box" of the usual training program in that you have the opportunity to spend three days with your horse (or ours) learning new things and perfecting old ones.
